Overview:

Khepri Collective, a vibrant retail space with an integrated café, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Retail and Events Manager. This role requires a versatile individual who can seamlessly manage the dual aspects of the business, including inventory control, vendor communications, event coordination, and overall operations. The ideal candidate will be the point person for both the retail and café sections, ensuring a cohesive and exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

  • Oversee and maintain inventory levels for both the retail space and e-commerce.

  • Conduct regular stock checks and manage restocking processes.

  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and supplies.

2. Vendor Communications:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

  • Handle any vendor-related issues and ensure smooth procurement processes.

3. Event Coordination:

  • Plan + execute in-store events, including collaborations with vendors.

  • Manage event logistics, including setup, staffing, and customer interaction.

4. Shipping and Logistics:

  • Oversee the shipping process, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

  • Coordinate with carriers and handle any issues related to shipping and receiving.

5. Customer Interaction and Sales:

•Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues.

6. Overall Operations:

  • Assist customers at the register and ensure smooth transaction processes.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for any management-related inquiries or concerns.

  • Supervise daily operations of both the retail space and café, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization.

  • Train and manage staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.

7. E-commerce Management:

  • Assist with managing the online store, ensuring products are accurate and up to date.

  • Utilize platforms like Shopify to enhance the online shopping experience

  • Manage customer orders and handle any issues related to the online store.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with LightSpeed or Shopify.

  • Experience with e-commerce retail sites.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities.

  • Customer-focused attitude with a passion for providing exceptional service.

  • Weekend and some evening availability
